Most people on the planet of Gim have one-word names. Common Earth names (Robert, Frank, etc.) are pretty much non-existent. Names almost always have to do with nature, space, or Earth mythology. Examples would be names of plants, animals, planets, constellations, or gods.
As for animals, the same rules apply.
