Phoenix decided to take a walk she left where she was leaving and headed out of course she was careful not to been seen. It was a habit which she wasn't planning to get rid of you never knew who was going to be there. In the forest she knew she was alone and could let her guard down. She has been a loner and a hermit so to speak. She was trained by the people who had taken her in after her parents died. They showed her how to take care of her self. If anything were to happen to them. So far nothing has happened. She was glad of that.
The sun was shining, the air was cool today as she walked towards the river. Once she got there she took off her shoes and put them next to her. She sat down and put her feet in the water. The water was cold, but it felt good to her. Her mind drifted to what earth might be like.

Coming down to Romula was beginning to become a regular thing for Cricket. He would walk down to the same spot every morning, and head back to Sonica when it was starting to get dark. The only bad thing was that he had to pass by the Void.
'Don't ever go anywhere near the Void unless I tell you to.'
Bay's words echoed through his thoughts. What he had been doing for the past couple of weeks didn't count as disobeying Bay, did it? He didn't even talk to anyone in the Void. He had never even seen anybody in the area. Plus, that wasn't where he went every day. So it was completely different.
He was sitting by the edge of a water source; the same one where he had met that girl named Jasmine.
Running sand through his fingers, he realized there was somebody else very close by. He looked to the right, and almost immediately spotted another person. Cricket didn't really know what to say or how to say it, so he just kept his mouth shut and waited until she noticed him too.

Phoenix relaxed and let her mind wander, but also being aware of her surroundings. She could feel a slight shift in the air. She knew then there was someone else who was around the river. If she needed she could move quickly and hid in the trees if need be. She just didn't want to be caught. If was was she would be killed trying to escape. Without being to obvious she glance over to her left. A young boy sat by the river as well.
For some reason she seem to know him, maybe it was around here or somewhere else. She couldn't put her finger on it. She could sense he was waiting for her to make the first move. Phoenix got up grabbed her shoes and she walked over to his side. "Hello." Phoenix said, she wasn't sure what else to say.

Cricket curiously watched as the stranger stood up and strolled over to his side. A few seconds had passed before he realized that she was talking to him. "Oh!" He suddenly said, meeting her gaze. It was so unlike him to not pay any attention to someone when he just met them. Actually, it was pretty common for him to not pay attention to something- it was the meeting a new person and not being interested that was strange for Cricket. Usually he would be jumping at the chance to make a friend. But he had too much on his mind. Mostly just thoughts about the fact that he was in the same spot where he met Jasmine.
Wait, why was he even thinking about her? He shook those thoughts away. "Um, hi.. do you live around here? I've never really met anybody in this area besides.."

Snake Mouth Orchid knew Phoenix would be out by the river at this time. It was usual their time for meeting. He just like spending time with her. Actually he was in love with her, but he didn't want to ruin their friendship so he kept quiet. He was in a tree watching her. snake Mouth Orchid was about to jump out of the tree when he saw her get up and walk over to a young man who sat a little ways away. He wasn't going to make his present known just yet. He just watched what was going on from the tree he was at.

Phoenix saw it took him a little while before he realized she was there. She was sure she had seen him somewhere, but she wasn't sure where exactly. Phoenix could tell he was thinking about something else. She really didn't want to intrude. She was going to step back when he asked his question. Phoenix could feel Snake, which was her nickname for him. He was close by. Probably hanging out in a tree no doubt. For some reason she was the only one he would let call him just Snake. It really didn't bother her. She felt a connection to him, but she didn't dwell on it much. "Live around here? Sometimes. I am not around this area this much....who else have you met here?" Phoenix asked hoping not to scare away this young man from answering her question.

"I come down here a lot.." Cricket said. He felt the presence of somebody else nearby but ignored it. He was probably just messing with himself again. He tended to do that to himself when he was nervous- he became paranoid over the smallest things. Shaking his anxious thoughts away, he continued to focus on the girl.
Her question didn't alarm her- he had kind of expected it once he stopped talking so suddenly. He had never talked about Jasmine with anyone, and it was nice letting his thoughts out for a change. "This girl. Her name was Jasmine. I think she lived here, in Romula."

Phoenix watched Cricket. She had never saw him down here when she was here or when she and Snake were down here. Maybe they were future down and not in sight of them when they were there. "That's cool." Phoenix said, it was nice to talk to someone else. She love it when Snake was around. It seem like there was something was missing, maybe this was it. She had to wait and see. "I haven't seen anyone around, but the forest is big. Maybe that's why we never ran into each other. So where do you live if you don't mind me asking?"
