RULES OF THE FORUM
This site is rated PG13, for some harsh swearing and violence.
BASIC STUFF
• Respect everyone. Staff, new members, senior members- everybody. If you have a problem with someone here, PM a staff member. We'll handle it for you. We want this place to be a safe, friendly, drama-free environment for everyone.
• Use proper grammar when posting in character. We understand that once in a while, people make typos, but try and edit your mistakes when you catch them. It just makes posts look neater- and it'll probably make you look like a better writer too. (:
• No plagiarism. This means stealing someone's writings or drawing without asking, and then claiming it as your own. If we find out that you've stolen something, you will be banned permanently. No questions asked.
• Don't spam. This means posting messages that have nothing to do with the topic, advertising your own website in the wrong place, or posting ridiculous messages that have nothing to do with this forum.
• Stay active! Nobody likes it when somebody disappears.
MAKING YOUR CHARACTER
• There is no face-claim on this website, just as long as it's not crowded with the same celebrity. [:
• No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus. Because they're annoying to roleplay with.
• While the number of characters you may have is unlimited, please only make as many as you can handle. We recommend 5 as your maximum amount.
• Read ALL other threads in the information board so you're familiar with the plot! It makes things easier for you when roleplaying here.
• Lastly, please follow all the guidelines listed in the bio application so that you can be accepted right away. (:
ROLEPLAYING
• Make your roleplay posts third-person and past-tense. Posts need to be at least 100 words long.
• Please don't powerplay while in battle. Your character may only aim to attack another character. Then the other player decides whether the move hits or misses. But please, don't have your characters dodge every attack every time, as this is unrealistic. However you do decide if your character is killed or survives.
• Don't be unrealistic. If your character is in a fight, they will get hurt, unless their opponent is extremely weak or already injured.
• Do not double-post in IC threads. The only time this is acceptable is when the other players in the thread have not posted in a long time, and you want to bring your character out of the thread.
• Don't make an out-of-character post in an in-character thread. If it's an open thread and you're only asking to join, it's acceptable.
• See other threads in the Information board for more information on the RPG here.
