history boötes was born april thirteenth to a tarr couple in their late twenties. he is the oldest of seven children, and the family currently resides in the countrysides of gim. being a tarr (and somewhat of a nuisance at times), boötes's first friends were fish. he conversed with those of the pond in his backyard, but never kept any as pets--since he was able to talk to them, he considered them equal, and therefore granted them their freedom. when boötes was about twelve, he met his current best friend, cricket. boötes values his friends very highly, though he doesn't have that many, and would do anything for them--what he lacks in brains, he makes up for in friendliness.
special abilities can talk to fish, swim well, and breathe underwater.
